The Michigan City Neighborhood Leadership Academy (MCNLA) is a transformative program designed to empower local residents to become active leaders within their communities. Eligibility and Requirements
To be eligible for the Michigan City Neighborhood Leadership Academy, participants must be at least 18 years old and reside within the city limits of Michigan City. The program requires a significant commitment, as attendees must be able to participate in at least six out of the eight scheduled sessions, including the cornerstone classes on October 18th and 19th, 2024. This commitment is crucial to ensuring that you fully benefit from the comprehensive leadership training and community engagement opportunities provided by the academy. Your dedication will be key to your success as a future community leader.
In order to graduate from the Michigan City Neighborhood Leadership Academy, you must attend AT LEAST 6 of 8 sessions, as well as complete all assignments and projects.
Academy Fall 2024 Schedule
Participants MUST be able to attend Cornerstone Class sessions on Friday, October 18th, and Saturday, October 19th.
